A Sunday on La Grande Jatte by Georges Seurat

The reason why I like this painting is because we lived 4 hours away from this island when we lived in Germany. However we didn't go because the exact place where Seurat drew the painting didn't look like the painting at all, so I decided that it wouldn't be worth the drive.

For some reason this painting is eye capturing. It could be the colors or the distinct style of Picasso. But once you see it live, you can tell it was from the artist. According to the story, Picasso had an affair with the woman in the picture.

Why are you angry? by Paul Gauguin

Paul Gauguin was a French Post Impressionist painter whose famous paintings were of the people of Tahiti. Gauguin went to Tahiti and painted life in Tahiti. Out of all of his artworks in the museum, I think this was his best piece.
